Comcast sucks. Comcast blows.

Any way you slice it, Comcast is lame. A pole went down, causing our Comcast cable to be out the entire Academy Award night yesterday. Internet was down, too. Whatever engineer designed that system with a single point of failure should be fired. This is what I get for $105/mo??! F Comcast!!

Also, I was told that you can show up for the first set, and if the crowd for the second set's not that big, you can stay for both...just have a few more drinks.

He made a friend along the way, though..

In order to get Stevie back up and running with a new hard drive, Snuffler valiantly sacrifices his butterfeet as he traverses the urban jungle.

Grayed out as well

Yup, my settings are grayed out as well, the problem is specific to the blog as I have a number of blogs I subscribe to and they don't have this issue. Snuffler ... can you help?

Can anyone mail to the blog?

I notice that the option to access settings for this blog is grayed out for me. Anybody else having this problem?

Could be because I already had a blogger acct associated with another blog.

Example of a picture uploaded via the free "Hello" program (http://www.hello.com). Hello hosts our images for free, which is a nice thing. To upload images via Hello, create an account to download Hello and use the BloggerBot section to upload images to the Trough blog.

posting to The Trough

If you'd like to post using your stormpig names, create a blogger account using that name. Once you have an account setup, there are a couple of ways to post messages:
1) use the Posting tab in your blogger account
2) send an email to your "mail-to-blogger" email address that you setup in the Settings section of your blogger account. I've made all of you members of The Trough blog. So, you should have created a blogger account based on the email I sent you. Go into "the trough" blogs' settings and click the "email" tab. There should be a "Mail-to-blogger" address. Put a name in there, like "stormpigs." This unique email address is how blogger identifies your email as being sent from you. Once the mail-to-blogger address is setup, you'll be able to send email to your mail-to-blogger address and The Trough will automatically be updated with a post sent from an email. Pretty cool. FYI - The subject of the email will be the bolded heading. The body of the email will be the text underneath the heading. Also, you can't post pics via email. You'll have to use Hello to do that (http://www.hello.com). Finally, when you do post an email message, a carriage return will create a line break in the HTML of the page..like this

The StormPigs have a blog!

This should be a little better than our tired old guestbook. As well, we'll can organize and post pics very easily using Hello (http://www.hello.com). Dig it, baby! And just in case you want to refer to the old guestbook, here is the link: http://www.stormpigs.com/talkat/talkat.html.

If you're on the run, you can also post via email or SMS. Pretty cool.
