Must-See Music Documentary

For any pigs who have access to the Sundance Channel, search your listings and find a way to see "Tom Dowd and the Language of Music." Here's a link to Sundance's description: http://www.sundancechannel.com/film/?ixFilmID=3381&rname=The+Film+Finder

Lemme put it this way. Tom Dowd was 16-year old working on the Manhattan Project. So he's kinda talented. But after the war he decides to go into the recording business as Ahmet Ertegun's engineering wiz at Atlantic, working with everybody. No, EVERYBODY. Dizzy, Coltrane,Aretha, Cream, The Allman Brothers...the list goes on. He's one of the most significant producers in the history of recorded music.

It was amazing watching him at the console replaying the Derek & The Dominoes Layla sessions master tapes, reviewing the Duane Allman/Eric Clapton guitar interplay. This documentary's fantastic.

what's worse?

From my daily life....
what is worse than finding no paper left in the stall when you are done? ....
finding all the stalls occupied when you emerge with your business incomplete.
